BEHAVIOUR (DISC) TRAINING
The marketplace is asking for, and wanting to work with people who are certified in their respective field.
DISC Behavioural Certification training and passing the exam leads to the award of Certified Professional Behavioural Analyst (CPBA). The training consists of three days days theory and during the intervening month between these days practical exercises are undertaken by delegates. This ensures participants are proficient and confident in the interpretation and feedback of behavioural reports, and the DISC Behavioural Certification provides each participant with an excellent tool for understanding the behavioural style of people and how to better manage, work and relate with them.
The training also involves learning how to administer the behavioural profiles and manage the account system
(Level A + B Training).
The objectives of the DISC Behavioural Certification programme are to –
- Know the history of the behavioural models
- Read and interpret the relationships of all four DISC factors on a graph
- Understand Graph I and Graph II disparity and how this has an impact on workplace stress
- Understand the Success Insights Wheel
- Apply graph reading to consulting scenarios in a knowledgeable, professional manner
- Understand the ethics involved in using Behavioural profiles
- Use Work Environment to understand the Behaviour required for the job.
- Learn how to select appropriate candidates against the Work Environment
- Identify people's behaviour just through observation
- Learn how to communicate with and best sell to different behavioural styles identified by observation
Who runs the training courses?
Training is delivered by Peter Turner and his daughter Sarah Turner, Peter has been studying DISC for 15 years. He is one of the original AVA analysts, and scored the instruments manually before they were introduced as a computerized system. He was taught this by Mr. Walter V Clarke (the father of ALL of the DISC instruments). His knowledge and interpretation of the DISC system is phenomenal, he is frequently asked to speak at international conferences, and has become significant in the development and understanding of the DISC product. This means that not only can he provide you with powerful insights and knowledge of the DISC model, but can also help by advising how to apply it into your business to change your client’s lives, and to make money whilst doing so
